The A3 method is a unique measurement technique developed by Kikkoman Biochemifa that uses ATP as a contamination indicator. By measuring not only ATP but also ADP and AMP, it allows for more sensitive detection. ATP is a substance found in various organisms and is commonly present in many "organic materials," including food and bacteria. A high level of ATP indicates insufficient cleaning (a state of high contamination).
